Phi Sigma Kappa, Delta Chapter was founded in 1891. It is the second
oldest fraternity at West Virginia University and is the third oldest
chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa in the nation.
The "Phi Sigs" have a tremendous record of service to the campus and
its community since 1990; they have won the Herbert Brown Most
Outstanding Chapter in the Nation Award every year, they have raised
almost $20,000 for the Mon County Head Start Program, they have
maintained over a 3.0 Grade Point Average, and there have been 3
student body Presidents from Phi Sigma Kappa.
The Phi Sigs were also
the founding fraternity of Brothers Against Drunk Driving (B.A.D.D.), a
designated driving program that has received national attention.
Promoting brotherhood, stimulating scholarship, and developing
character are the important goals the Phi Sigma Kappa strives to
accomplish.
